Career Development Professionals of Indiana (CDPI) is pleased to offer three grants this year of up to $500 to be applied toward professional development resources that will allow members to provide career related workshops/presentations to peers, faculty, staff, and/or students.  Grant monies can be used to fund program materials (event marketing materials, conference registration, research, etc).

Application deadline: April 12, 2010

q Individual applicants must be current CDPI members ( Must be a paid member of CDPI)  

q Career Center Teams must include at least one current CDPI member

q Applications will be in the form of a two‑page, typewritten, double‑spaced program proposal not including the cover page.

Proposal Guidelines: 

§  Cover page should include:

o    Name and contact information of submitter or team representative.

o    Program title

o    Indicate if the proposal is an initiative related to the field of education

§  Proposal should include:

*Please refrain from including school, career center or individual names in the actual proposal as the selection committee will view these as anonymous submissions.

o    Purpose of the program, workshop, event, or service.

o    Audience (student, faculty and staff, career services colleagues).

o    A description of program, presentation, or service including learning objectives, proposed timeline, and budget.

Official announcement of the award will be made at the 2010 Spring Conference.  Grant funds should be used within one year.

Grant recipients will be required to set up a "showcase" or provide a presentation at the Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 CDPI conference, highlighting the program, workshop, or service and outcomes.

*As IAEE has graciously provided funding through their ending, one of the three grants will be awarded to an initiative related to the education industry.
